Storage and consent
You control what this site stores in your browser and which measurement tags may use cookies. Below is the complete list, grouped by consent category. Functional, Analytics and Marketing stay off until you opt in. You can change your choices at any time via the Manage Cookies link in the footer.
Necessary
Always on. Required for the site to work and to remember your consent choice. These items stay in your browser and are not used to track you.
theme— your light/dark theme preference (localStorage).axcell-consent-v1— your consent choices and when you made them (localStorage), so we don't ask again on every visit.- axcell-lang — your preferred language, English or Arabic (localStorage).
- axcell-calc-currency — the currency you pick in our calculators (localStorage).
- axcell_chat_messages, axcell_chat_is_open, axcell_chat_expanded — the chat you are having, kept in sessionStorage for the current tab only so it survives a page reload; deleted when you close the tab.
Functional
Off by default. If you allow it, the chat remembers who you are for the rest of the browser session, so you don't have to re-enter your name and email after a reload. Your enquiry still reaches us when you submit the chat form, whether or not this category is on.
axcell_chat_prospect_id / _name / _email— your chat reference number, name and email (sessionStorage; deleted when you close the tab).axcell_chat_gate_cleared— a flag recording that you have already completed the chat sign-in step (sessionStorage).- We do not store your calculator or Financial Health Check answers in your browser. Results are calculated on the page and disappear when you leave it.
Analytics
Off by default. With your consent, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure visits, pages viewed, traffic sources and approximate location. Until you opt in, and if you decline, Google Consent Mode keeps these cookies switched off; the Google tag may still send Google cookieless, aggregated signals (such as page address, time, browser type and approximate location) that Google uses for modelled reporting.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, lasting up to 2 years. Google states that GA4 does not log or store IP addresses.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — anonymised heatmaps, scroll depth and session recordings to improve the website; text you type in forms is masked. Loaded only after you accept Analytics, and stopped if you withdraw it. Uses cookies such as _clck and _clsk (up to 1 year).
Marketing
Off by default. With your consent, advertising tags measure whether our ads lead to enquiries and help us show our ads to people likely to be interested in our services.
- Google Ads conversion tracking (Google LLC) — records when a visit from one of our ads leads to a contact-form submission, WhatsApp click or phone click. Uses cookies such as _gcl_au (about 90 days).
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) — records page views so we can measure and target our Facebook and Instagram ads. Uses cookies such as _fbp (about 90 days).
You can change your choices anytime via the Manage Cookies link in the footer.
Who we are (data controller)
The controller of personal data collected on this site is Axcell Business Services Co., a company registered in the Arab Republic of Egypt, of Apartment 8, Building 96, Neighbourhood 1, District 9, Sheikh Zayed, Giza, Egypt. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights below, email info@axcellservice.com.
What we collect
- Enquiry and contact details that you submit through the contact form, the chat sign-in or the Financial Health Check: name, email, phone, company, the service you are interested in, company size, how you found us, and your message.
- AI chat conversations — every message you type in the chat is sent in real time to our AI provider, DeepSeek, to generate a reply. We do not keep the full conversation on our servers; your browser keeps it for the current tab only. We do save details you mention that help us follow up (company, role, industry, company size, need, urgency and phone number) against your chat record. Please don't share sensitive personal information in the chat.
- Tool inputs — calculators run in your browser and their inputs are not sent to us. When you complete the Financial Health Check and submit the results form, we receive your name, email, company, country and overall score.
- Usage and device data — pages visited, referral source, device and browser type and approximate location, collected by Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel only as described in the consent categories above. Our hosting provider also processes IP addresses in server logs for security and operation, and the calculators may use your approximate country to show prices in your local currency.
- Job applications — through the careers form: name, email, the role you are applying for, your motivation statement and your CV. If your CV is a PDF, its text is sent to our AI provider, DeepSeek, to produce an internal summary for our hiring team; hiring decisions are always made by a person.
How we use it and why (legal basis)
- To respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and follow up with you by email, phone or WhatsApp — because you asked us to, as steps before a possible contract, and with the consent you give when you submit a form.
- To provide the AI chat, calculators and Financial Health Check you use, and to keep the site secure — because you asked for them, and in our legitimate interest in running a safe website.
- To measure site performance and the results of our advertising (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads, Meta Pixel) — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To assess job applications — with the consent you give on the careers form.
- To meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations in Egypt, and to establish or defend legal claims. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf, and only as needed: Hostinger (website hosting); Supabase (database for enquiries, chat leads and job applications); Resend (delivers new-enquiry notifications to our team by email); Vercel Blob (private storage of uploaded CVs); DeepSeek (AI model that generates chat replies and CV summaries); Google (Analytics and Ads, with your consent); Microsoft (Clarity analytics, with your consent); Meta (Meta Pixel, with your consent); and CallMeBot (relays short new-enquiry alerts to our team's WhatsApp). If you book a meeting or message us on WhatsApp, Microsoft (Bookings) and WhatsApp process your data under their own terms. We may also disclose data to public authorities where Egyptian law requires it.
International transfers
We are based in Egypt, and several of our providers process data outside Egypt: DeepSeek processes chat messages and CV text in the People's Republic of China; Google, Meta, Resend and Vercel process data mainly in the United States and other countries where they operate; Supabase and Hostinger store data in the data-centre regions selected for our account. We transfer personal data abroad only in line with the transfer rules of the laws that apply to us and rely on our providers' contractual and security commitments. These countries may not offer the same level of protection as your own. If you prefer that your enquiry not leave Egypt through the AI chat, contact us by email or phone instead.
How long we keep it
Enquiries, chat-lead records, Health Check submissions and the related notification emails: 24 months from your last contact with us. If you become a client, engagement records are kept for the periods required by Egyptian tax and commercial law. Job applications and CVs: 12 months from submission, unless you are hired or agree to a longer period. Full chat conversations are not stored on our servers. Google Analytics data: no longer than 14 months. At the end of these periods we delete or anonymise the data.
How we protect it
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Uploaded CVs are kept in private storage and can be viewed only by authorised staff through a password-protected admin area. Access to our database and mailboxes is limited to the people who need it. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the competent authority where the law requires.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can: know what personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy; have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected; have your data deleted or its use restricted; object to processing for marketing; withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out); and be told of any breach affecting your data. To exercise these rights, email info@axcellservice.com — we will respond without undue delay and within the time limits set by applicable law, free of charge. You can withdraw consent for any non-necessary category via the Manage Cookies link in the footer. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the data-protection authority in your country — in Egypt, the Personal Data Protection Center; in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA); in the UAE, the UAE Data Office.
Which laws apply
We process personal data under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. Because we serve clients in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States, we also respect the rights of visitors from those markets under their local laws where those laws apply to us, including Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law, the UAE's Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and the UK GDPR. This site is intended for business users and is not directed at anyone under 18; we do not knowingly collect children's data.
Changes
We update this policy when our data practices change and show the new date at the top. When we change the consent categories or add a new analytics or advertising service, we update the consent version so the cookie banner appears again and you can review your choices. See our Terms of Service for the rest of the site agreement.
